So I got a little side-tracked online today while searching for exam robes for Dave's practice. Somehow I was directed over to YouTube and it was all over from there.

I am a Donny Osmond fan. Not crazy have-all-his-albums type of fan, just like the guy. Dave and I got a good laugh out of this one.

That's all for now. I can't avoid painting the bathroom any longer...................

It seems I'm always behind these days. It's Tuesday already and I'm still reviewing the weekend in my head. So here's MY weekend update:

Saturday was a crazy get-the-chores-done quickly in the morning, errand-running in the early afternoon, day. Dave took J and TJ shopping for Mother's Day while Coop and I ran errands. My sis-in-laws bridal shower was at 3, and J and I barely made it there after running errands. It was good to see members of my hubby's family that we don't see very much. Here's a few pics from the day.

Mother's Day turned out to be far from ideal this year, but it was still enjoyable. Coop did his usual "Mommy, I poopy! MOM! I want some juice," routine from his crib and Dave told me to stay in bed, that he would take care of it. I wish it was Mother's Day at least once a week just for that reason alone. I drifted off to sleep again and was woken up to Dave saying 'sorry' but I needed to get up because he HAD to go get some butter for the waffles that he and the kids were making. It was going to be a breakfast in bed feast for me, and it was still a nice surprise. The kids each gave me a different colored bracelet, and, being the democratic Mom that I am, I wore all 3 of them to church. We all got dressed and off to church in under an hour. Considering I got a shower in there too it was an impressive feat. One nice thing about having our entire family in the Primary (kids organization at church) is that Dave can help the kids make my Mother's Day presents. That way there is a little element of surprise on my part when they give me the presents that our Presidency arranged. Everybody got reverence cards (meaning they were quiet and good in church), Toby had an allergy attack to one of the Mother's Day Sees chocolates, and I didn't have to keep 3 hungry kids quiet during choir practice like I thought I would have to. Dave bailed on me after church for a SJ Frogs game (he's the team doctor/trainer) and I was SO unmotivated to make anything for lunch. Me and my sweet 3 chillies spent the rest of the day eating popcorn, carrots, and lunchmeat on a blanket in the living room watching Daniel and the Lions Den. Then we took a glorious 3-hour nap. Dave came home and we scooted off to Grams for dinner with both sides of the family.
